A police department in the UK has a policy against officers swapping childcare.

These two women watch each others' children, but since it is more than two hours a day, it is considered a "reward". Really? What is wrong with "I watch your kid while you work and you watch mine?" This is not a one-sided arrangement. It is not between an officer and a private citizen. I really hope that this misguided police department comes to their senses soon.
P.S. You may notice that my last two posts involve links from bbc.co.uk. I am not British, I am American. But in general, I try to stay away from websites such as CNN, Fox News and MSNBC. I prefer to get my news from more impartial sources such as BBC, Reuters, et al. Not to mention the fact that CNN has so many grammatical and spelling errors, I cringe to think how many factual errors there could be as well. This is not a hard and fast rule, but I'm just making everyone aware so you know I am not one of those partisan hacks trying to push an agenda. Stupidity comes in all races, creeds, political affiliations...
